Tim Denton is well known to all of you who regularly view the PSG website.

As an enthusiastic contributor he has now produced an excellent booklet covering the defences of the Basingstoke Canal. Using his brilliant artistic talents he has illustrated this guide with both photographs and his own style sketch maps.

It has already received wide publicity by way of the Hampshire and Surrey newspapers which have included the Aldershot, Farnborough, Farnham, Camberley, Yateley and Fleet papers as well as in the Basingstoke area.

Several notable museums including Milestones and the Willis museum at Basingstoke have the booklet for sale, as well as the Basingstoke Canal centre at Mytchett.

All proceeds from sales go towards the upkeep of the Basingstoke Canal
